Dimitrios Dechouniotis
Dr. Dimitrios Dechouniotis received a diploma in Electrical Engineering and a PhD from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2004 and 2014 respectively. He also obtained a master’s degree on Automation Systems from the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program of Mechanical Engineering School of the National Technical University of Athens in 2006.
During the period 2015-2025, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens and participated in more than 10 national and European research projects on modern 5G communications, cyber-physical systems and Industry 4.0.
During the period 2006-2016 he worked as a Non-Tenured Lecturer in the Departments of Electrical Engineering of the Technical Educational Institute (TEI) of Western Greece and Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Western Greece, the Departments of Automation and Telecommunications Systems and Networks (TESYD) of the TEI of Messolonghi and the Department of Electrical Engineering & Electronic Engineering Educators of Pedagogical and Technological Education (ASPETE).
During the period 2022-2025, he worked as a Digital Forensic Engineer in Competition Commission.
