Evangelos Pefanis was born in 1964.
He was appointed as a member of the (E.T.P) at the former TEI of PATRAS in 2003. Today he is a permanent member of the Special Technical – Laboratory Staff (E.T.E.P) of the Department of Electrical and Informatics Engineering of the University of Peloponnese.
Education.
Graduated Electrical Engineer, TE of the Department of Electrical Engineering, School of Technological Applications, TEI of Patras (1986). Completed a course at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the TEI of Western Greece in Patras in the postgraduate program “Renewable Energy Systems – MSc RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS (RES)” (30 ECTS credits) during the academic year 2013-2014. Attended the following educational programs of specialization – training in the field of Informatics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. (EKPA) during the Academic years 2015-2018.

Educational work.
In the former TEI Patras, School of Management and Economics – Department of Accounting. (as a laboratory collaborator under contract with the institution)
-Teaching of the Laboratory Courses of the Department of Accounting TEI of Patras “Office Automation” second semester and “Introduction to Databases” of the third semester.
Distribution and supervision of dissertations to groups of students of the department.
DURATION: 9 teaching semesters from 09/2003 – 06/2008, 5 hours per week.
At the University of Peloponnese, School of Engineering – Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
From the academic year 2019-2020 until today:
-Teaching the laboratory course “Computer Programming Techniques” of the first semester.
-Teaching of the laboratory course “Procedural Planning” of the second semester of studies.
Research project.
Undertook and implemented the execution of a specific project, service and support of the ARCHIMEDES II program, of measure 2.2, category of operation 2.2.3.g, entitled ‘Archimedes II – Support of Research Teams of TEI of Patras’ with the object “Construction Database – Application of knowledge mining methods in the forecast of corporate bankruptcies “in a period of 20 months from 1/5/2005 to 31/12/2006 based on the contract with the institution.
Participation in the inPoint research project (from August 2020 until today).
The inPOINT project will develop an original online platform to support and enhance Open Innovation actions in highly integrated companies. The main goal of the project is to create a friendly, functional and sustainable solution that will fully support the processes of collecting, disseminating, organizing, synthesizing and utilizing knowledge that comes from both the internal and external environment of a company. The proposed solution covers needs along the overall value chain and the overall process of innovation development in a company.
Professional experience.
30 years of experience in technical support of IT systems and software development in the private sector, industry and higher education.
