The Studies Counselor are faculty members of the Department, who advise and support through meetings that appoint, especially freshmen in order to facilitate their integration into higher education, inform and advise all students on matters of their studies and subsequent professional and provide special supportive care for students with serious family, personal or other difficulties that prevent them from completing their studies successfully. The Studies Counselor tries, as much as possible, to give or suggest solutions to any problems that arise. In no case, however, is it obliged to guarantee a solution to every problem in advance.
Every October, the Department Assembly assigns the duties of Studies Counselor to all faculty members, randomly and equally distributing the number of freshmen to the faculty members of the Department. A student’s Studies Counselor remains the same until the end of his / her studies.
